Our story began on Bumbleānothing dramatic or particularly romantic, just the swipe of a thumb to the right. But when we met for the first time on May 20, 2022, something quietly clicked.
It began with one small detail that somehow felt too meaningful to be a coincidence: we shared the same birthday. We laughed so hard that night, amazed by it and unable to believe it. Yet at the same time, it felt a little like fateāso we decided to follow where it might lead.
Just one week later, on May 27, 2022, we officially became a couple.
From morning trips through the Starbucks drive-through to evening rides beneath breathtaking sunsets and nights spent gazing at the stars, being together simply felt right. It felt natural. It felt meant to be.
It took only one week to fall in love, followed by four years filled with loyalty, commitment, patience, laughter, andāmost of allālove.
Then, during our trip to Boracay in the Philippines, on March 29, 2026, Jerico asked me to begin our next chapter together.
We were out on the ocean at sunset when he stepped onto the netting beside me, even though deep water has always terrified him. In that moment, he put aside his fear to make the experience unforgettable for us. Surrounded by the sea and the glowing evening sky, he proposed.
It was one of the most beautiful moments of our livesāa reminder that love is not the absence of fear, but choosing one another despite it.
And now, after one swipe, one shared birthday, one week to fall in love, and four years of choosing each other, we are ready for everything still to come.
